"Black and Brilliant: Pieces of Us" celebrates the depth, beauty, and resilience of Black identity through the ancient language of cloth. Ankara, with its bold geometric patterns and saturated color, speaks directly to African heritage and the enduring creativity that flows through the diaspora. The solid black squares act as anchors in this design, honoring the foundation upon which Black excellence stands. Together, these fabrics build something greater than the sum of their parts - a visual testament to community, collective memory, and shared brilliance.
 
Every stitch carries intention. The hand-sewn construction and freestyle machine quilting, honor the generations of Black women whose skilled hands transformed fabric into legacy, turning the domestic into the extraordinary.
