ONI by NGOZI

 2021 Design Gallery

Ngozi Design’s second ONI Collection continues to highlight creative acts of resistance in the sartorial genius of Black women.  It centers fashion differently by exploring a long tradition of quilting and appliqué techniques.  The collection also celebrates the beautiful colors of the Earth and each one-of-a-kind piece holds our stories  in the hundreds of fabric remnants from which it is made.

ONI is translated as “sacred ground” in Yoruba.
