A beautiful handmade one-of-a-kind, hand-sewn cloth doll by Marilyn Griffin of Kanike Doll Co. (Kanike means "black cloth" in Swahili)  
 
Kanike dolls, stuffed by hand, are made of Hampton crepe fitted with wire clothes hangers inside of a silhouette-shaped pattern Griffin designed. The body shape is for the most part unisex: it's the clothes that make the person.   Beige Burlap top with matching full length skirt and mudcloth trim  -  Approx. 22" tall
